CM Revanth Visits Kanha Shanti Vanam
Hyderabad: TELANGANA Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy visited Kanha Shanti Vanam at Kanha village of Nandigama mandal in Rangareddy district on Sunday.
The Chief Minister made inquiries about the soft skills which are being imparted to children and students at Kanha Shanti Vanam. He praised the students for demonstrating skills like identifying colours and reading words in blindfold.
Revanth Reddy expressed his opinion that steps need to be taken to provide such wonderful skills in government schools and residential schools as well. Later, the Chief Minister visited the Tree Conservation Centre on the same premises.
On the occasion, the Shanti Vanam administrators explained to the Chief Minister the procedures related to the development of various types of trees and the cultivation of plants. Later, Revanth Reddy also visited the rain forest which has been developed specially in the Shanti Vanam and also planted a Galibuda (scientific name: Hildergardia Populifolia) sapling at the meditation centre.
Chief Minister’s Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, Government Advisor Srinivasa Raju, MLA Shankaraiah and senior officials were present.
